We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager from a B2B product based background to manage a team of sales account managers in the B2B and Trade Account team. This is a first-hand B2B sales account manager role and a team manager position in one, leading from the front and responsible for wholesale trade account customers as well as a team of three sales account managers.

This role is initially offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This Customer Service / Wholesale Manager role includes:

  • Managing the Customer Service Sales team to achieve wholesale targets including inductions, training and 1 to 1 performance appraisals
  • Implementing strategies to drive internal sales performance with existing trade accounts and new trade account enquiries
  • Reporting directly to Senior Management on all aspects of wholesale performance which will include client feedback on products and services, suggesting ideas for improvements and the like
  • Visiting trade customers across the UK representing the business and managing key relationships in order to increase revenue
  • Management of sales orders through email, online, telephone and face to face client communication

Skills & experience required:

  • People / team management experience is essential
  • Experience within a B2B product based business
  • Direct sales account management experience
  • A full UK driving licence is required
  • The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check and any offers of employment will be subject to this and employment references

Hours, salary and company benefits:

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Up to £35,000
  • Monthly bonus scheme after 3 months employment
