We are very pleased to be working alongside our successful, modern and friendly client as they seek to recruit a full time permanent Fulfilment Manager to join their team at their site based close to Uckfield (in a rural location). This is a superb opportunity to join a busy, friendly and modern employer where you will be a key part of the team and their ongoing success.
Role based on the outskirts of Uckfield. There is plenty of free parking available on site for staff but due to rural workplace location, you will need to be a driver and have access to your own vehicle. Salary Β£35000 plus overtime per annum plus excellent all round staff benefits, which include monthly company lunches, company branded clothing for staff, employee discounts on company products.
The role: This is a superb opportunity to join a progressive and forward thinking business who manufacture and distribute high quality products to wholesale and the general public. Duties include:
- To work reliably and accurately on the picking and packaging of orders ready for dispatch across all sales channels.
- To ensure that dispatch errors are kept within the agreed KPIs.
- Replenishing and managing stock levels.
- Managing the team (currently 2 people).
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Adhering to all hygiene and health and safety policies.
- To ensure that customer data is maintained in line with GDPR at all times.
- Ongoing training of Fulfilment staff.
- Manage the Fulfilment site, and report any maintenance issues that arise.
Skills, competencies and experience required: Due to rural workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport (no access to public transport nearby). Strong team player. Good IT skills. Enjoy working in a busy environment.
