We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality Auditor to join their fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the successful candidate, offering stability and the chance to develop within a high-performing quality team. The working hours are Sunday to Thursday night 22:00 β 06:00 (40 hours per week) and the hourly pay rate is Β£15.40 per hour.
The Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high food safety and quality standards, supporting BRC accreditation, and driving continuous improvement across the site. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out GMP and CCP audits and ensuring accurate documentation and traceability
- Monitoring food safety standards, reporting and resolving quality issues with production teams
- Conducting sampling, swabbing, and testing for allergens and microbiological checks
- Managing temperature controls, equipment calibration, and validation activities
- Investigating non-conformances, complaints, and out-of-spec results, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Supporting audits, product launches, and training colleagues on quality and food safety procedures
- Maintaining records, systems, and documentation to ensure compliance
About You
- Previous experience in a quality/technical role within manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and train others
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Food Safety/HACCP Level 2 (desirable, training can be provided)
