We are delighted to be partnered with our successful, professional and very friendly client as they seek to recruit a Senior Administrator to join their team at their offices in Haywards Heath. This role is an office based position and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a brilliant financial services based company.
Full time permanent role, Monday-Friday - office based role. Role based in Haywards Heath - modern offices - 10 min walk from the station. Some parking available on site along with nearby free street parking. Salary - £27000-£30000 per year - very good all round company benefits, including excellent pension scheme along with life insurance and regular salary reviews. Holiday entitlement starts at 20 days plus all bank holidays - this increases with length of service.
The Senior Administrator will provide administrative and organisational support to the senior leadership and wider internal teams within a growing outsourced service provider to the insurance sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient daily operations, acting as a liaison between departments, managing communication flows, and supporting both strategic and day-to-day activities.
Senior Administrator - duties include:
- Provide administrative support to the Director and senior team members
- Co-ordinate diaries, arrange meetings, and manage calendars
- Prepare meeting materials including agendas and reports
- Monitor shared in-boxes, triage enquiries, and ensure prompt responses
- Act as first point of contact for client liaison via email and phone
- Maintain and update internal systems, contact databases, and documentation
- Support compliance-related administration and internal communications
- Assist with document formatting, filing, and office organisation
- Facilitate on-boarding processes for new staff
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs
The successful candidate will be a proactive and adaptable administrator with excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism. They will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced / busy environment. It is important to like pets as sometimes there are small (well behaved) dogs in the office.
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
- Prior experience in a similar support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Confident in liaising with clients and supporting cross-functional teams
- Experience working in a small or medium-sized business setting
