Position: Printer / Designer – Vehicle Livery
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per year plus good company benefits. 20 days holiday, rising to 25 days after 1 year of service
Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-15:00
Role based in Burgess Hill. Plenty of parking on site and around a 15 minute walk from the station area.
We are very pleased to be working with and representing our very established, expanding and highly reputable vehicle livery client as they seek to recruit an additional Printer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This is a superb opportunity to work within an excellent employer who are able to offer a great working environment and long term security and stability.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ability to use Adobe Illustrator including:
- The creation of Vector artwork from scratch
- The creation of scalable print ready files from scratch
- The ability to alter existing artwork so that it can be printed to any size
- The ability to alter and up-scale the resolution of customer artwork to make it print ready
- Producing proof drawings and print to an agreed time scale
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels of materials used within your area
Competencies, skills and experience required:
- Applicants will need to be able to lift a 1600mm wide weighing 20kg to elbow height, this is required to load new rolls onto the printer
- Previous experience of Operating Mimaki and Latex printers plus cutters
- Previous experience of operating large scale laminators
- Previous experience of using Corel draw
- Being local to Burgess Hill and be able to commute daily
