We are very pleased to be working alongside our very established and highly reputable client as they seek to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their team on a part time permanent basis. This is a superb opportunity to work within an excellent organisation who are able to offer a great working environment and long term security and stability.
Part Time permanent role: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Apply online only) Haywards Heath / East Grinstead area. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to rural workplace location (half way between Haywards Heath and East Grinstead), you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport.
Salary: £15.60 per hour which works out as approx £9734 per year based on 12 hours per week, plus good company benefits.
Duties and responsibilities:
- The role would be working with the accounting package Xero.
- Posting sales invoices and allocating payments.
- Producing a debtors report, referring for reasons unpaid and debt chasing.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Managing and paying suppliers.
- Weekly takings report.
- Balancing and monitoring till, petty cash and fuel box.
- Reconciling credit card invoices and recharges.
- Collating information for staff payroll.
- Maintaining spreadsheets and cash flow.
- Producing invoices and recharging across other companies.
Competencies, skills and experience required:
The ideal candidate would have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and have previous experience gained within a Bookkeeping role. Driver and own transport required due to office/workplace location.
