We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for a successful and well-established food production company based in Shoreham‑by‑Sea. We are currently seeking dedicated Food Production Operatives who are enthusiastic about the possibility of transitioning from a temporary to a permanent position for the successful candidate. The company is willing to provide training, but previous experience in food production, manufacturing, production, or kitchen environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting Products: Using cutting and mixing equipment to create high-quality food products.
  • Transporting Products: Moving products to various locations within the facility using trolleys.
  • Handling Raw Ingredients: Preparing and handling raw ingredients on the production line to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Reporting Issues: Promptly reporting any faults, machinery issues, and product concerns to the supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
  • Cleaning Equipment: Thoroughly cleaning equipment to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Quality Checks: Conducting quality checks on products to ensure they meet our stringent food safety standards.
  • Adhering to Procedures: Following all quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Health and Safety: Committing to and upholding health and safety practices to create a safe working environment for all employees.

There are various shift patterns for this role: AM (6am-2pm), PM (2pm-10pm), Night (10pm-6am). The hourly rate for this role is paying between £13.14 and £14.27 per hour.
