We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative organisation seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead to join their growing team in Newhaven.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday,8:30am to 4:00pm.
This is an exciting opportunity for a construction-focused project professional to take ownership of projects from inception through to successful completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
The Role
As a Project Delivery Lead, you will oversee multiple projects within a wider programme of works, working closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing multiple projects and monitoring progress against key milestones.
- Producing and maintaining project documentation.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Conducting regular project reviews and progress meetings.
- Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.
- Managing project quality and ensuring all deliverables meet required standards.
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Managing subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing regular project updates and performance reports to senior management.
- Keeping up to date with industry developments and construction technologies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and solutions-focused individual with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
You will have
- Previous experience in a similar Project Delivery, Project Management, or Site Management role.
- A recognised Construction Site Management qualification.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, CDM regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience using construction project management software such as Field View, View Point, Inn Dex, Insite, or similar.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project delivery independently.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Significant construction industry experience, ideally 5+ years.
