  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
  • Location: Horsham
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5 pm Onsite

  • We’re looking for a meticulous Mortgage & Protection Administrator to join a dynamic team and contribute to a growing mortgage and protection team based in Horsham. As a Mortgage Administrator you will be supporting advisers with all administrative tasks and managing mortgage and protection cases from start to finish. You’ll make sure all paperwork is accurate, compliant, and completed on time. You will also handle client queries, find the right solutions and following them through with professionalism and care.

    Mortgage & Protection Administrator Responsibilities

  • Handling mortgage applications from submission through to legal completion and beyond.
  • Submitting, tracking, and managing protection applications (such as life, critical illness, and income protection) from initial application to the policy starting.
  • Chasing any missing documents and making sure all new business applications are complete and compliant.
  • Communicating with lenders, insurers, solicitors, and other third parties to gather updates and keep cases moving forward.
  • Following up with solicitors to confirm exchange and completion dates.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for queries from clients, lenders, insurers, and conveyancers.
  • Monitoring client inboxes and managing repeat client accounts.
  • Keeping internal systems, records, and client files up to date and accurate.
  • Working closely with advisers to ensure all processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in mortgage and protection administration
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service focus
  • Highly organised with a methodical and accurate approach to work
  • Self-motivated, professional, and able to take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases effectively
  • A genuine team player with a high level of integrity and attention to detail
