Hours: 30 hours per week (ideally across 4 days, with Tuesday as the non-working day, but flexibility available)

Location: Hybrid working (mix of office and remote)

Pay Rate: £14.22 per hour

About the Role

As a Temporary HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function. You’ll be responsible for managing onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment practices, and providing efficient HR administration. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and managing the onboarding of 30+ candidates at any given time.
  • Carrying out safer recruitment checks including DBS and reference verification.
  • Supporting HR administration tasks such as contracts, records, and compliance.
  • Ensuring smooth communication between candidates, managers, and HR.
  • Delivering accurate and timely HR support across the business.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ HR Administration/Coordination experience, with recent experience (within the last 3 months).
  • Proven experience of direct onboarding (not via outsourcing) of large candidate volumes.
  • Strong knowledge of safer recruitment practices (DBS, references, compliance).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly in a busy environment.
