We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Solderer to join a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Brighton. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent after a successful qualifying period.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hand soldering, PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or precision assembly work and be confident working to high-quality standards within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hand soldering electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assemblies
  • Assembling finished electronic products to customer specifications and orders
  • Inspecting work to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy are maintained
  • Reading and interpreting assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
  • Meeting productivity and quality targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Reworking and repairing soldered components where required
  • Supporting other production areas and undertaking cross-training as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous soldering experience, ideally within an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good manual dexterity and experience working with small components
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
