We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of education catering operations across West Sussex.

Managing a patch of 3-4 areas (potentially up to 7), you'll support Area Managers, drive operational performance, ensure compliance, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of Area Managers across multiple locations
  • Build strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders
  • Ensure food safety, compliance, and service standards are consistently met
  • Monitor financial performance and operational targets
  • Resolve operational challenges and implement improvements
  • Drive team performance, engagement, and developmen

The ideal candidate will have

  • Previous Operations Manager experience
  • A strong catering or contract catering background
  • Multi-site management experience
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Details

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Travel across West Sussex sites with a mix of home and office working
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own transport essential
