We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of education catering operations across West Sussex.
Managing a patch of 3-4 areas (potentially up to 7), you'll support Area Managers, drive operational performance, ensure compliance, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Area Managers across multiple locations
- Build strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders
- Ensure food safety, compliance, and service standards are consistently met
- Monitor financial performance and operational targets
- Resolve operational challenges and implement improvements
- Drive team performance, engagement, and developmen
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous Operations Manager experience
- A strong catering or contract catering background
- Multi-site management experience
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Details
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- 37.5 hours per week
- Travel across West Sussex sites with a mix of home and office working
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport essential
