This is a brand-new position, created following the purchase of a 4-head industrial embroidery machine. You will be the sole embroidery machine operator on-site, taking ownership of the setup, operation, and day-to-day running of the embroidery machine. While initial support will be provided during installation, this role is ideal for someone confident in their ability to load/set up and run embroidery machines who can bring expertise and help establish processes.
Job duties:
- Setting up and operating a 4-head / multi-head embroidery machine
- Loading garments and preparing materials for production
- Managing embroidery runs from start to finish
- Ensuring high-quality output across all garments
- Troubleshooting basic machine or production issues
- Assisting with the setup and optimisation of the embroidery process
- Supporting wider production duties when required: Heat press operation, vinyl cutting, garment preparation and finishing, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Working to deadlines and managing multiple production orders
- Quality checking finished products
Skills & experience required:
- Previous experience operating industrial embroidery machines
- Hands-on experience with machine setup, running production and loading materials
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a new function
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 based on experience
Location: Horsham
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
