This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance, supporting school events, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for students, staff, and the community. Apprenticeship route available.
Caretaker responsibilities:
- Maintain and secure our 16.5-acre site, including buildings, sports fields, and facilities.
- Carry out general repairs, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
- Support school events and community lettings with setup and on-site assistance.
- Operate heating, lighting, and security systems; respond to emergencies.
- Ensure health & safety compliance and contribute to risk assessments.
- Engage in ongoing training and development, including apprenticeship opportunities.
