We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join a busy team in Haywards Heath.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative skills, previous invoicing experience, and excellent attention to detail.
You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the team, working across a variety of administrative and financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track invoices accurately.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding payments and queries.
- Maintain transaction records and financial documentation.
- Maintain databases, filing systems, and electronic records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Provide administrative support for meetings and team activities.
- Forward calls and emails to the appropriate departments.
- Contact clients, suppliers, and external organisations to obtain information and documentation.
- Record all interactions accurately within internal systems.
- Use multiple software systems to input, update, and retrieve information.
- Generate reports when required.
- Liaise professionally with clients, staff, service providers, and local authorities.
- Arrange taxi and train bookings.
- Collect and distribute post.
- Scan and upload documents as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Previous invoicing or financial administration experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
