We are delighted to be partnered with our professional, established and highly reputable nationwide based client as they seek to recruit Fire Alarm Service Engineers to join their experienced and friendly team. This role is available due to strong company growth levels and continued expansion and will be based in and around the London area. My client is seeking candidates with experience of fire alarm service / commissioning Fire Alarm Service Engineers Full time permanent role Mon-Fri (Apply online only), may have some earlier starts / later finishes depending on site requirements. On call rota basis including weekends Salary £36000-£43000 per annum, depending on experience plus excellent all round company benefits. Plus overtime. Company van, fuel card, mobile phone and uniform provided. 23 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays – holiday entitlement increases with length of service. The role – Fire Alarm Service Engineers My client are the UK’s class-leading supplier of fire detection and fire protection systems. They design, install, and maintain all types of automatically operating fire extinguishing systems and electronically activated fire detection and alarm systems for large projects through to servicing small standalone products. They currently have over 200 employees and have offices throughout the UK Duties will include: * Carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance and commissioning of Fire detection, Emergency lighting and associated systems along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up to date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential. * Complying with work instructions, company policies and Health and Safety procedures. * Maintain a working knowledge of simple circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary. * With relevant training, commission clients’ Fire Alarm and associated systems. * Maintain an accurate and high standard of all documentation and electronic records. * Undertake ‘On-Call’ duties as part of your team. * Any other duties relevant to the role Experience, competencies and knowledge required * Will need proven experience in Fire Alarm system maintenance. * FIA or equivalent training would be desirable but not essential. * Full driving licence * DBS Check * Flexible approach to working hours and location * Ability to work unsupervised or in a team * Good communication skills and the ability to know when to escalate any problems * IT literate as all jobs are booked on tablets * Ability to problem solve and use own initiative when on site * Provide an excellent level of customer service For more information regarding this new and exciting Fire Alarm Service Engineer opportunity, please apply now!
