About the Role
As a Collection & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a long wheelbase van to collect and deliver parcels efficiently and safely. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a physically active job and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting vehicle safety checks before each shift.
- Planning and following a dedicated delivery route (PDA provided).
- Collecting parcels from various locations.
- Delivering parcels to households and businesses.
- Loading and unloading parcels (up to 30kg).
- Providing friendly and professional customer service.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Experience driving a long wheelbase van.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30kg).
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
- Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
