Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Monday to Friday -07:30am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, unloading and checking deliveries against paperwork.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
- Organising stock and ensuring items are stored in the correct locations.
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operating warehouse equipment, including Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts where required.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, logistics, removals or stock control experience desirable.
- Counterbalance and Reach Forklift experience.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties and work on your feet throughout the day.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
