We are recruiting for Sales Executives to join a global B2B media and events organisation. The business delivers market-leading trade events across the food, drink, retail and hospitality sectors, working with clients ranging from SMEs through to global brands. This is a consultative sales role with a structured progression path in sales and business development, offering exposure to major industry events and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships. Please note, this Sales Executive role will be based at the Crawley office until the end of 2026 when you will move to the new Brighton office.
As a Sales Executive you will:
- Generate new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle
- Book and attend 5–10 Teams meetings per week with prospective clients
- Sell exhibition space across large-scale industry events
- Build and manage a pipeline of 300–400 clients annually, working towards closing 100 deals per year
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, many of whom are existing or previous customers of the wider business
- Create tailored proposals and present consultative solutions to senior decision-makers
- Support event attendance and represent the business at key industry exhibitions in London and/or Birmingham
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
Skills & experience required:
- Previous sales experience (B2B preferred, B2C considered if consultative)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Resilient, driven and commercially aware
Salary, hours and company benefits:
- Up to ÂŁ30,000 plus monthly and annual commission
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Hybrid working, 2 days per week office based (after initial onboarding)
