We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer to join a well-established and growing business, carrying out installation, service, maintenance and repair works across air conditioning, commercial heating and associated mechanical systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and delivering exceptional customer service while working across a diverse range of commercial sites.

  • As a Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and commercial heating systems
  • Fault finding and diagnosis across a wide range of HVAC equipment
  • Working on split, multi-split, VRV and VRF systems
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations, manufacturer specifications and Health & Safety requirements
  • Conducting site-specific risk assessments before commencing work
  • Completing service reports, commissioning records and certification accurately and on time
  • Providing customers with clear explanations of faults, repairs and recommendations
  • Supporting continuous improvements in quality, efficiency and customer service Essential Qualifications for the Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer:
  • CITB Air Conditioning Qualification (or equivalent)
  • REFCOM F-Gas Certification
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications including: CDGA1, CIGA1, COCN1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CEN1/CENWAT
  • Full UK Driving Licence Requirements for the Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer:
  • Proven experience working on: Split systems, Multi-split system, VRV/VRF system
  • Experience working within plant rooms, including: Commercial boilers, Associated mechanical systems and controls, Warm air heating systems, Radiant heating systems
  • Experience working across a range of HVAC manufacturers
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Organised with excellent time management skills Salary, Hours and Company Benefits for the Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer:
  • Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • Field based across Sussex - Crawley, Horsham, Worthing, Brighton & Eastbourne
  • Company van provided
  • Tools provided (will need your own hand tools)
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
