We’re looking for a Field Installation Support Technician, with experience in Shutters, Blinds, Windows, Conservatories or similar trades/installations to take on a varied, field-based role.
You will support field specialists across a wider geographical area, travelling regularly and staying overnight when required. A company vehicle is provided but you’ll need a full clean UK driving licence. You’ll cover a defined geographical region. Candidates can be based anywhere within the UK, with a preference for South East, London or Midlands locations.
This Field Installation Support Technician role involves:
- Providing in field technical support to specialist installers
- Delivering practical training and upskilling to reduce errors and improve quality
- Supporting right first-time installations and remedial works where required
- Acting as a technical point of contact for field and office teams
- Completing sales, survey and installation work when required (commissioned)
- Travelling regularly with occasional overnight stays
- Attending HQ in Brighton & Hove periodically for training and specialist support activity
Skills & experience required:
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Trade background with experience in Blind, Shutter, Conservatory or Window installation
- Ability to work independently across a wide geographical area
- Systems savvy with confidence learning internal software
- Professional approach with strong ethics and team mindset
Salary, hours and company benefits:
- ~£32,000 – £35,000 plus monthly bonus scheme
- ~40 hours a week to include Saturdays and Bank Holidays
- ~Company vehicle provided
