Position: Administration Assistant
Salary: Β£24,000 β Β£25,000 per annum plus very good all round company benefits, including Christmas bonus, company away days and Christmas and summer parties
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Hours: Monday β Thursday 09:00 -18:00 and Fridays 09:00-17:00, office based role
Role based in Haywards Heath. There is free parking on site for all staff and the offices are close to the station area.
We are delighted to be partnered with our friendly, professional and established professional services based client as they seek to recruit an additional Administration Assistant to join their experienced team within their offices in Haywards Heath. This role is available due to strong company growth levels and continued expansion.
Administration Assistant duties will include:
- Answering the telephone professionally, quickly and efficiently, and transferring calls or taking messages where necessary
- Booking video conference calls for colleagues
- Preparing standard company letters
- Preparing post ready for collection
- Scanning and photocopying documents
- Assisting with placing stationery orders
- Inputting data onto the company software system
- Assisting with marketing tasks, including management of social media accounts and some event organising
- From time to time assisting with basic accounting tasks
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
- Some good academic results
- Some previous office admin experience
- An ability to work well independently and use your own initiative
- A good team player
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An enthusiasm to take on new challenges and broaden your knowledge base and skill set
- An interest in developing your own career
