Looking to start a career in IT? We are recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a software company based in Shoreham-by-Sea. In this role, you\’ll be responsible for triaging and resolving complex application issues, investigating bugs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You’ll also work on troubleshooting system issues using Unix and SQL commands.

As a 2nd Line Support, your key responsibilities will include:

* Troubleshooting and resolving support cases

* Receiving, prioritising and triaging incoming support tickets

* Replicating customer-reported issues and resolving them

* Talking to customers over the phone and via email

Requirements:

* Experience or knowledge with Linux

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

* Knowledge or experience of SQL

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on an annual salary of £23,500. The role is fully office based in Shoreham and after a successful 6 months’ probation you can then transfer onto a hybrid pattern.
