Job Description:
We are looking for a technically minded and detail-focused Digital Print Operative to join a well-established company based in Newhaven on an ongoing basis. This role is ideal for someone experienced in digital print who is confident working with systems, file handling, and colour-critical workflows. Previous experience operating Xerox digital printing presses is essential for this role.
Duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring digital print machinery.
- Ensuring print jobs are completed accurately and to quality standards.
- Setting up and adjusting machines as required.
- Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance.
- Meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating at least one of the following:
- Xerox Iridesse (preferred)
- Xerox Versant
- Xerox iGen
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently on night shifts.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Desirable
- Experience using Fiery RIP software.
- Previous experience within a print production environment.
