We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to support daily warehouse operations and lead a team to achieve productivity, quality, and health & safety targets. This role acts as a key link between warehouse operatives and management, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support warehouse operatives on a daily basis
- Allocate tasks and manage workloads to meet KPIs and deadlines
- Monitor performance, productivity, accuracy, and attendance
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures
- Conduct staff inductions, training, and ongoing coaching
- Address performance or conduct issues and escalate when required
- Support picking, packing, loading, and goods-in activities when needed
- Maintain accurate records and complete operational reports
- Communicate effectively with shift managers and other departments
- Assist with stock control, audits, and housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Operative
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and H&S regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Basic IT skills (WMS, scanners, Microsoft Office)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required
