Role Overview
As a Marine Advisor, you will join the Offshore Wind Business Line within the Installation Method Department. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, HSE, quality, planning, and project teams, providing expert maritime advice across a range of offshore activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare scopes of work and vessel documentation for marine operations
- Create vessel specifications for operational requirements
- Review technical bid evaluations and proposals
- Develop procedures and method statements
- Contribute to marine assurance activities
- Support development of offshore engineering methods and project execution strategies for marine and vessel operations
- Participate in HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and other formal risk assessment processes
Experience:
- 10–15 years as a senior officer on offshore vessel types
- Strong background in vessel operations and offshore working environments
- Master STCW II/2 (Unrestricted) CoC preferred
- Lower CoC with an appropriate degree may be considered
- Ability to command an offshore vessel
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to travel on site up to 70% of the time
