We are seeking experienced MEICA Project Engineers to support the successful delivery of AMP8 projects across the North West. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle from outline design through to commissioning and handover within a collaborative and forward-thinking delivery environment. The position will involve a combination of office, remote and site-based working, supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality water infrastructure projects.

As a MEICA Project Engineer, you will work closely with designers, subcontractors, commissioning teams and operational stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in managing MEICA packages throughout design, procurement, manufacture, installation and commissioning phases. You will contribute to programme and budget development, support construction sequencing, monitor delivery performance and help drive a right-first-time culture across the framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote health, safety and wellbeing throughout all stages of project design and delivery
  • Manage MEICA packages including design coordination, installation and commissioning activities
  • Support HAZOP, HAZCON and other project review meetings
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to develop practical construction solutions
