About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Survey Manager to lead our land survey, CAD, laser scanning and survey data processing operations. This is a key technical role suited to a strong survey professional with experience in topographical surveys, measured building surveys, CAD production, survey data processing and quality assurance. You will work closely with surveyors, CAD technicians and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient workflows from field capture through to final issue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support surveyors and CAD/data processing staff
- Oversee survey data processing and final deliverables
- Review survey control, coordinates, levels and raw survey data
- Check and approve CAD outputs using BricsCAD and AutoCAD
- Support n4ce processing workflows and laser scanning deliverables
- Maintain QA standards across survey and CAD outputs
- Develop CAD standards, templates and processing procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff
- Drive improvements across survey capture, processing and QA workflows
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong background in land surveying and topographical surveys
- Experience with CAD production and survey data processing
- Good understanding of measured building surveys
- Experience managing or mentoring surveyors and/or CAD technicians
- Working knowledge of: n4ce, BricsCAD and/or AutoCAD, Leica total stations and GNSS equipment
- Understanding of survey control, coordinates and datums including OSGB36, OSTN15 and ODN

- Leica RTC360 laser scanning workflows
- Point cloud processing and registration
- Leica Cyclone / CloudWorx
- Civil 3D
- PAS 128 utility survey deliverables
- Utility survey CAD processing
