Role Overview:

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading engineering and project delivery organisation supporting complex infrastructure programmes within highly regulated sectors. This role offers the chance to work within a high performing programme environment, driving planning and scheduling excellence across major engineering and infrastructure delivery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrated, logic-linked schedules using Primavera P6
  • Review and assure contractor and supply chain schedules
  • Identify and manage interfaces, dependencies, risks, and opportunities
  • Deliver forecasting, progress updates, and variance analysis reporting
  • Produce month-end schedule and performance reporting
  • Facilitate schedule workshops and critical path analysis sessions
  • Collaborate closely with PMO, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Drive improvements in planning standards and scheduling capability

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Planning Engineer on major infrastructure, civils, or engineering projects
  • Strong Primavera P6 expertise and advanced scheduling capability
  • Experience with schedule integration, baselining, and change control
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness including NEC and/or FIDIC contracts

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience within highly regulated environments
  • Familiarity with APM, PMI, or AACE frameworks
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Experience working within matrix organisations
