Hands-on Telesales Team Leader to motivate, coach, and elevate performance while delivering results.
Main Duties:
- Interact with and motivate the Telesales team.
- Operate call coaching, call listening, second voice closing and sales training.
- Monitor productivity levels of Desk Sales / Telesales team, reporting daily to the Sales Manager any areas for improvement.
- Provide reports on coaching of staff on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis on metrics defined by Sales Operations.
- Manage lunch & break rota to maintain cover across core business hours 09:00-17:30 Mon-Fri liaising with Sales Manager to manage FTE resources, holiday cover and phone coverage.
- Maintain individual performance files for each Telesales agent with weekly reports on areas of concern, areas of excellence, additional coaching areas, attitude and standards.
- Assist Sales Manager to develop and execute sales booster days on a monthly basis to drive take-up and meet & exceed stated targets.
- Work alongside the Sales Manager to develop individual coaching and development plans for all sales team members.
- Enforce and maintain standards within the office, specifically but not limited to dress code, attendance and time keeping, personal phone usage and tidiness and behaviour standards.
- Telesales Team Leader will also hold a reduced % new business target to be achieved monthly which will be eligible for commission payment upon achievement.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Maintain Call & Productivity Statistics at team & individual level.
- Monitor and manage Telesales team adherence to data quality, pipeline and deal stages to produce accurate forward reporting of sales forecasts.
- Adherence to targets for FTE availability, staff cover during breaks and holiday periods.
- Continual Professional Development of the sales teams, improving sales techniques, closing methods, improvement of conversion rates, reducing churn and increasing retention.
- Accountable for maintaining adherence to standards within the sales team.
Experience:
- Telesales background within a sales environment.
- Experience of leading a team ISP (internet Service Provider) is beneficial.
