A top nuclear client is looking for a Senior and Principle Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team.
Must be Sole British and eligible for SC Clearance
Our Client has a requirement for a Senior or Principle Mechanical Engineer, who will be required to work on a staff or contract basis in Warrington.
Role Purpose:
- Support to the Technical team responsible for managing the leak within MSSS Original Building
- Lead packages of work. Expect the candidate to work autonomously with limited support and direction (once up to speed).
- Candidate will perform work themselves. There is potential for support to be provided ad-hoc but no additional resources can be made available to support full time.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Scoping and specification of technical work
- Leadership of specific work packages (could be internally or externally delivered)
- NFR/report production and presentation
- Checking and review of other team members’ work
- Planning of future scope (e.g. transition from technical to design/projects)
- Regulatory engagement on allocated work packages
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Engineering Discipline
- Maybe a science-based discipline with the right experience
- Chartered in their discipline
- Experience in the Nuclear Industry, preferable with Sellafield
- Technical Assessment and Review
- Study Delivery
- Early design delivery (Study and Concept phases)
