About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Button Pusher to join our dynamic team. This critical position is responsible for ensuring buttons are pushed efficiently, effectively, and at the correct moments.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional button-pushing skills, sound judgement, and the ability to remain calm under pressure when faced with multiple buttons requiring urgent attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Push buttons as instructed.
- Identify buttons that require pushing.
- Refrain from pushing buttons that should not be pushed.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Junior Button Pushers.
- Attend meetings to discuss button-pushing strategy.
- Prepare weekly reports detailing buttons pushed, nearly pushed, and accidentally pushed.
- Respond to button-related emergencies.
- Conduct routine button inspections.
- Champion button-pushing best practice across the organisation.
- Escalate suspicious buttons to senior management.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a button-pushing environment.
- Proven track record of successful button engagement.
- Strong finger-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish between "Push", "Do Not Push", and "Are You Sure?" buttons.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of button theory and applied pressing techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recreational button pushing.
Desirable Skills
- Professional Button Pushing Certification (PBPC).
- Experience with emergency red buttons.
- Ability to push multiple buttons simultaneously.
- Familiarity with touchscreens, switches, levers, and mystery controls.

- Buttons pushed on time: 99.9%
- Incorrect button pushes: Less than 1 per quarter
- Average response time to urgent button events: Under 30 seconds
- Team button satisfaction score: Excellent
