Overview
Brand new role for a Quality Manager!
This position involves leading and managing all aspects of quality across the full project lifecycle, covering both internal processes and external supplier quality. You’ll have strategic oversight and responsibility for managing a team while driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong quality culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership on quality matters across the project lifecycle
- Act as subject matter expert and advisor on ISO 9001 and client-specific requirements
- Oversee and support the quality team and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
- Manage supplier quality activities and ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Conduct quality planning, risk-based audits, supplier assessments, and non-conformance management
- Deliver quality performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in quality roles within the nuclear or highly regulated industry
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor trained
- HNC or equivalent in Engineering or a relevant discipline
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Member (or working towards membership) of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)
- Willingness to travel occasionally (UK and overseas)
