- Project Procurement Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in
Chiswick .
Role Purpose
- Lead project procurement activities and manage purchasing teams across major projects.
- Deliver procurement strategies for a broad range of engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment.
- Act as a Lead Buyer or procurement subject matter expert on complex purchasing packages.
- Ensure cost-effective, compliant, and commercially robust procurement solutions that support project objectives.
Job Role Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the project purchasing team, including driving supplier negotiations.
- Manage all procurement activities for assigned purchase packages from prequalification through to close-out.
- Develop and issue procurement plans in line with project requirements.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved suppliers.
- Conduct tender evaluations and provide commercial recommendations.
- Support supplier selection, award recommendations, and ongoing supplier performance monitoring.
- Administer purchase orders including invoice verification, claim resolution, back charge management, and purchase order close-out.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or demonstrable equivalent industry experience.
- Proven procurement experience within complex project environments.
- Strong supplier negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated project management and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage complex procurement packages involving engineered and non-engineered products.
