About the Role
We are looking for x2 Offshore Construction Managers to oversee and deliver construction and anomaly activities across all Morecambe Hub offshore assets. Reporting directly to the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects and modifications in compliance with our processes and standards.
As a key member of the offshore leadership team, you will uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance while managing stakeholders and ensuring the efficient delivery of construction scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Leadership:
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and quality in all construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with company management systems and international standards.
- Project and Construction Management:
- Coordinate and oversee the on-site execution of construction scopes.
- Maintain high standards of offshore construction delivery, ensuring adherence to specifications, drawings, and certifications.
- Drive compliance with Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) Gates and contribute to constructability reviews, HAZIDs, HIRAs, and HAZOPs.
- Monitor and report construction progress through daily reports and weekly meetings.
- Complete all pre-commissioning activities for seamless handover to the Commissioning Team.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders, contractors, and shared support resources.
- Ensure technical queries are resolved in close liaison with engineers and technical authorities.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure efficient use of resources, including materials, equipment, and scaffolding.
- Drive on-site productivity and resolve issues impacting daily targets.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Oversee compliance with Spirit Energy’s Management of Change Process.
- Manage closeout of workpacks and ensure accurate as-built documentation.

Qualifications and Experience
- Education: HNC in Construction/Fabrication or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in offshore environments.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and multiple contractors.
- Proven track record in executing offshore projects/modifications safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with operating constraints, including safe isolation and plant reinstatement on mature assets.
