POSITION DETAILS
- Worker Status: PAYE only
- Location: Offshore rotation
- Expected Duration: 12 months
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT/ROLE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supervising offshore installation activities, coordinating Installation Contractors and Vendors, and monitoring their performance, assuring technical integrity and the application of all relevant Company QHSE Policy and Company standards, providing technical support and troubleshooting as required.
- Responsible for reporting to Company onshore office the installation activities progress on a daily basis, promptly highlighting the achieved milestones, criticalities and any further Company request.
- Responsible for verifying that installation works are in compliance with project specifications and procedures and coordinating the offshore supervision team.
- Cover the role of Offshore Company Representative onboard Company’s Contractor vessels for the decommissioning of fixed platforms offshore UK.
- Cover leadership position working with offshore installation Contractors and Marine Warranty Surveyors.
- Monitor installation activities to ensure they are executed in accordance with project schedule, highlighting and reviewing deviations (Management of Change) and suggesting possible solutions in coordination with onshore engineering team.
- Coordinate with Logistic team and onshore yards supervisors to guarantee the delivery of materials for offshore installation.
CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS, PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
- Specific skills sets in offshore installation engineering, particularly relevant to offshore activities such as load-out, transportation, installation, pre-commissioning, hook-up and decommissioning of fixed platforms, sealines, umbilicals, flexible lines, subsea structures and floaters (FPSO, FLNG, etc…).
- High knowledge in technologies, vessels and equipment used for loading, transportation, installation, pre-commissioning, hook-up and decommissioning of subsea and offshore structures is required.
- High skills and experience as Offshore Construction Manager or Company Representative onboard installation vessels for the installation and/or decommissioning of fixed platforms, sealines, umbilicals, flexible lines, subsea structures and floaters (FPSO, FLNG, etc…).
- Knowledge of offshore installation international Rules, e.g. DNV, IMCA, etc… as applicable to installation of offshore structures is required.
- Seagoing experience as Offshore Construction Manager and/or Company Representative for the offshore installation and decommissioning of fixed platform, sealines, umbilicals, flexible lines, FPSO, FLNG and subsea structures.
- Yard experience in offshore structures preparation for installation, mechanical completion and load-out would be a major advantage.
- Experience in active participation on project’s HAZID is required.
- OPITO certified for UK offshore is mandatory.
