Our Client has a requirement for an Installation Engineer, this role is all about providing technical leadership for various marine projects, including fixed platforms, pipelines, flexible lines, and subsea structures. As part of your responsibilities, you'll be involved in engineering reviews, preparing scopes of work, and creating technical specifications for installation and pre-commissioning activities. You'll also monitor and support ongoing projects to ensure everything runs smoothly, and assist during technical meetings and site queries.
Role Purpose:
- Provide technical leadership within the Naval and Marine Operation discipline.
- Support follow-up, engineering review, and monitoring of ongoing projects for fixed platforms, pipelines, umbilicals, flexible lines, FLNG, FPSO, and subsea structures T&I activities.
- Prepare T&I Scope of Works, Technical specifications for Installation and Pre-Commissioning, External Interface and Responsibility Matrix, and Installation Schedules.
- Identify Marine spread minimum requirements for safe and successful installation of offshore structures.
- Prepare installation outline procedures for T&I Tenderers for technical and commercial quotations.
- Monitor and review execution project installation engineering.
- Assist the Company during Technical Clarification meetings, project HAZID, Offshore Site Queries, and Offshore Management of Change.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Highly experienced in preparation of ITTs and follow-up of offshore transportation and installation contracts relevant to fixed platforms, sealines, risers, umbilicals, flexible lines, FPSO, and subsea structures.
- Significant experience working on or monitoring FEED and EPCI of T&I projects and ability to interface with other disciplines.
- Seagoing experience as an Installation Contractor, Project Operation Engineer, and/or Company Representative for offshore installation and pre-commissioning of various offshore structures.
- Good knowledge of technologies, vessels, and equipment used for loading, transportation, installation, pre-commissioning, and hookup of subsea and offshore structures.
- Knowledge of international rules for installation of offshore structures.
- Yard experience for offshore structures preparation for installation, mechanical completion, and load-out is advantageous.
- OPITO certification for offshore travel is preferable.
