Driving quality excellence on complex construction sites — from compliance to continuous improvement. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Quality Lead to oversee all quality-related activities across multiple high-voltage substation construction sites with varying levels of complexity and technical input. This role is critical to ensuring construction activities are delivered in compliance with project-specific quality requirements, contractual obligations, and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality-related project activities and services are implemented effectively by contractors on site, in line with project quality requirements.
- Prepare, review, and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Ensure construction site teams and subcontractors comply with quality management system requirements.
- Facilitate and support inspection and testing activities in accordance with the project quality plan.
- Inspect completed works and implement corrective actions where required.
- Identify, manage, and drive timely close-out of non-conformances.
- Support mitigation of quality-related risks and contribute to the development and implementation of effective solutions.
- Support the project team in managing customer complaints, including reporting, investigation, and resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, training, and regular coaching.
- Maintain regular communication with project management, site teams, internal specialist departments, document control, and client representatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant professional experience on construction sites of varying size and complexity.
- Proven experience working within an EPC environment, including management of MEICA and civil works.
- Exceptional knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and document management systems.
- Health & Safety experience is advantageous.
