New Job Opportunity! - Initial 12 Month Outside IR35 Contract - Based in Talacre, North Wales. Our Client has a requirement for a Site HSE Advisor, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Talacre, North Wales.
Contract: Initially 12 Months
Requirements: 5 days per week on site (Occasional Saturday mornings)
Purpose of the Position
As a Site HSE Advisor, you will report to the Field HSE Manager and provide support to ensure the effective development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC projects) of the Liverpool Bay Decommissioning and Carbon Capture Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement, inductions, and training programs
- Conducting site inspections, monitoring subcontractor activities, and ensuring equipment compliance
- Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safe systems of work
- Overseeing Permit to Work (PTW) systems and controls for hazardous materials
- Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting incident and accident investigations
- Promoting environmental compliance, sustainability, and best practices on site
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification in HSE or an engineeringārelated discipline
- Several years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in inspections, surveys, and incident investigations
