Our client is currently seeking Chartered (or Incorporated) Civil Engineers to join their team, specialising in water projects. We are looking for applicants with a range of experience, from those newly Incorporated/Chartered to those at the Principal level.
About the Role
- Lead civil engineering and/or multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Create outline and detailed designs for a variety of water utilities projects.
- Produce calculations and reports to support those designs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare business cases and proposals to enable clients to secure project funding.
- Work with construction partners to enhance the safety and buildability of designs, as well as streamline the construction process.
- Ensure designs comply with sustainability, health & safety, and environmental standards.
About You
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (or another relevant institution).
- Previous experience in the water sector is not essential, but we value transferable technical skills.
- A strong desire to mentor and support junior engineers towards achieving Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A passion for delivering sustainable solutions within the water and environmental sectors.
