Take ownership of critical industrial services operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of catalyst handling, cleaning, waste management and specialist maintenance support activities across a major refinery site.

Our Client has a requirement for an Industrial Services Coordinator, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Immingham.

Role Purpose:

  • Accountable for the field execution of industrial services activities including catalyst handling, cleaning, high-pressure water jetting, drain cleaning, tanker operations, gulper operations and waste disposal services.
  • Support the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of site maintenance activities.
  • Provide supervision and coordination of contractors and specialist service providers.
  • Support the Industrial Services Supervisor in achieving operational and maintenance objectives.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety is paramount in all aspects of work execution, including permit compliance, risk assessments, safety documentation, method statements and take-time activities.
  • Provide field supervision of contracted services under their control.
  • Ensure the effective use and management of contractors working within the operational area.
  • Provide operational support and cover for the Industrial Services Supervisor when required.
  • Maintain, control and take responsibility for the catalyst shed and yard.
  • Maintain, control and take responsibility for the jet bay.
  • Work closely with Supervisors, Schedulers and Planners to ensure schedules and task lists are accurately updated.
  • Support and drive improvements to preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Execute minor maintenance activities and support operations-led maintenance work.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with refinery maintenance principles, safety standards and environmental requirements.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and practical experience of high-pressure water jetting.
  • Experience of catalyst handling activities.
  • Experience in tank and vessel cleaning operations.
  • Experience managing tanker operations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Experience supervising work groups in a field-based environment.
  • Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
  • Knowledge of industrial plant or refinery environments.
  • Demonstrated maintenance experience within an industrial setting.
  • Proven level of technical competence.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
  • IOSH qualification or training.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • Ability to enter and work within confined spaces.
