Contract: Initially 12 Months

Hybrid: Initially 5 days in office with some flexibility, until a hybrid working plan is in place.

Role Purpose

The Corporate Services & HR Projects Officer supports the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Company's Corporate Services activities. The role serves as the primary point of contact for Procurement services, coordinates the implementation of the Group HR system, and contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and business processes that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and support the Company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate Services Coordination: Coordinate Corporate Services activities across the organisation, identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities to strengthen governance, improve collaboration, and enhance operational efficiency. Support the planning, tracking, and delivery of Corporate Services initiatives and strategic projects. Monitor progress against agreed objectives and support stakeholders in achieving project deliverables.
  • Procurement Coordination: Act as the Company's primary focal point for Procurement services. Coordinate business requirements and procurement needs across departments. Liaise with the procurement service provider to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with agreed service levels. Monitor procurement performance, facilitate issue resolution, and support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices.
  • HR Systems & Project Support: Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Group HR system. Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders. Coordinate project activities, timelines, testing, and deployment activities. Liaise with vendors, IT teams, HR, and business functions to ensure successful project delivery. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, communication, and change management initiatives.
  • Process Improvement & Governance: Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate policies, procedures, and business processes. Ensure processes are aligned with business objectives, governance requirements, and compliance standards. Identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational efficiencies across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Facilitate clear communication and alignment of priorities across multiple functions. Support the successful execution of Corporate Services initiatives through effective stakeholder engagement and coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Corporate Services, Project Management Office (PMO), Business Transformation, HR Projects, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, or improving policies, procedures, and business processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Desirable:

  • Experience coordinating HR system, ERP, or other business system implementation projects.
  • Experience working within international or matrix organisations.
  • Familiarity with the business environment and regulatory landscape in Malaysia and/or Indonesia.
