Great Ness Full-Time On-site
F

Location: Wherever greatness is required
Salary: Competitive and paid in admiration and the occasional round of applause

About the Role

Are you passionate about making things run smoother, faster, shinier, and generally more brilliant? We're seeking an Operational Brilliance Officer to join our team and take responsibility for ensuring that absolutely everything operates with maximum efficiency and minimum chaos.

As the Operational Brilliance Officer, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, optimise processes, and occasionally look thoughtfully at spreadsheets while sipping coffee. You'll be the driving force behind operational excellence, workplace harmony, and ensuring nobody says, "We've always done it that way."

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations and identify opportunities to increase brilliance levels.
  • Conduct routine 'Efficiency Walkabouts' whilst carrying a clipboard for added authority.
  • Translate complicated problems into PowerPoint presentations nobody asked for but everyone admires.
  • Ensure all processes are running at peak performance or at least appear to be.
  • Organise and facilitate emergency brainstorming sessions when someone replies-all to a company email.
  • Measure, track, and report on Key Brilliance Indicators (KBIs).
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and motivational use of coloured sticky notes.
  • Investigate operational bottlenecks using advanced detective techniques and mild suspicion.
  • Maintain the company Brilliance Dashboard, regardless of whether one currently exists.
  • Act as first responder for minor office crises, including but not limited to:
    • Missing staplers
    • Mysterious printer behaviour
    • Passive-aggressive fridge notes
