The Role – Senior Planner
As Senior Planner, you will take full ownership of one or more water project programmes, keeping delivery teams aligned, informed, and on track. You’ll combine hands-on planning with team leadership, setting standards, embedding best practice, and mentoring junior planners to build a high-performing planning function.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed programmes across the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects
- Define and manage scope, resources, logic, and dependencies
- Drive critical path, risk, change, and recovery strategies
- Produce high-quality programme narratives and reports for stakeholders
- Maintain robust baseline management, coding structures, and schedule integrity
- Mentor and support junior planners to create a collaborative, high-performing team
