Our Client is currently in search for 2 positions, a Senior Cost Specialist & a Cost Specialist to support major nuclear projects within a complex project controls environment. This role will involve full lifecycle cost management, budgeting, forecasting, earned value reporting, change control and financial performance analysis across high-value programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining project baseline budgets, CBS, control accounts and cost reports
- Managing accruals, commitments, forecasts, change control and cost risk contingency
- Supporting EVM reporting, payment claims and cost/schedule integration
- Liaising with clients, project teams and finance stakeholders
- Supporting bids, project setup and project close out activities
Requirements:
- Significant experience in cost engineering/project controls within complex engineering or nuclear environments
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, EVM and change management
- Experience working across full project lifecycles
- Familiarity with NEC/FIDIC/JCT contracts preferred
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Professional membership such as APM, AcostE or RICS desirable
