Environmental Officer – New Job Opportunity – Initial 12 Month Outside IR35 Contract Our client is currently in search for an Environmental Officer to be based in Talacre, North Wales on a 12 Month initial contract Outside IR35 with work up until the end of 2028. Purpose of the position: As Environmental officer you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards. You will join our Client’s project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). Activities: Conduct environmental inspections and monitor subcontractors activities Deliver site inductions, training, and promote environmental awareness Update procedures and oversee implementation of management plans Ensure accurate reporting and KPI tracking Investigate incidents and support key personnel on site What are we looking for? Education: BEng or BSc majoring in environmental or similar Experience: 3-5 years on UK Oil & Gas or Construction Projects Certification: ISO (phone number removed) Lead Auditor What we can offer to you: Contractor role, full time Outside IR35 Location: Talacre, 5.5 days per week Start date: as soon as a successful candidate is identified Company information At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
