Are you an experienced Environmental Consultant looking for a new challenging opportunity where you can really make a difference?

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage large and strategic environmental projects, including Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and non-statutory environmental reports. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high technical standards.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior team members. Motivate the team to achieve project objectives and maintain high standards of quality and performance.
Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with clients, stakeholders, regulators, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
Proposals and Bids: Contribute to the preparation of proposals and input into bids for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Technical Expertise: Offer technical support and mentoring, sharing your expertise to help junior staff develop and grow within the team.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Degree: A degree in a relevant science or environmental engineering subject (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, air and climate, noise, geology, hydrogeology, etc.).
Experience: Relevant post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment, specifically in the preparation and coordination of EIARs and non-statutory environmental reports.
Chartered Membership: Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
Technical Expertise: Excellent knowledge of planning and environmental legislation, technical guidance, and industry standards, particularly in relation to EIARs.
Project Management: Proven track record in managing major environmental projects, including budgeting, client liaison, and programme delivery.
Additional Experience: Experience in sustainability and carbon management, and knowledge of renewable energy projects (both onshore and offshore) would be an advantage, though not essential.
Desirable Qualifications:
Masters Degree in a relevant specialism (preferred but not essential).
Renewable Energy Projects Experience (preferred but not essential).
