We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Site Setting Out Engineer, based on site at Brancote STW (Stafford). Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate setting out and quality control services to ensure works are delivered safely, in line with specification, drawings, and current legislation, while maintaining clear and auditable site records.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with CDM Regulations and company safe working practices
- Carry out setting out for all site works
- Check site works for compliance with specifications and drawings
- Agree site measurements and records with the client's representatives
- Maintain drawing files, drawing registers, and site filing systems
- Liaise with the design team to ensure the latest information is used
- Take off quantities from drawings for measurement and requisition purposes
- Assist with preparation of construction completion documentation
- Ensure works are completed to a high standard of quality and good working practice
- Maintain all required quality records
- Work with site teams to ensure compliance with legislation, company H&S policies, and procedures
- Lead by example with safe site behaviours
About the Candidate
- BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering / Construction (or equivalent)
- Proven experience using levelling and surveying equipment (Total Stations, GPS, Robotics, Automatic Levels)
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- First Aid at Work
- SSSTS
- UUSR SHEA Water
