My Client is seeking a contractor to provide High Voltage Electrical Engineering services for a period of 12 months. This service can be provided from either Middlesbrough or Warrington.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Site surveys, visits and client meetings
- HV Electrical Cable routing drawings & cable schedules
- HV Electrical Engineering Design
- HV Electrical cable diagrams, Loop diagrams
- HV Electrical installation Scope of Work documents
- HV Electrical datasheets
- Checking and approval of Engineering Design
- Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
- Technical evaluations of estimates
- Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
- Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
- Experience of relevant HV calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget.
- A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
- You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
- Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software.
- Demonstrable experience of UK onshore HV Electrical Engineering within a COMAH environment.
