EC&I PDMS Designer – 12 month contract
40 hours
As an EC&I PDMS Designer you will be responsible for:
- Design of installable CE&I cable route infrastructure / plant layouts that can be safely installed and subsequently populated with cables.
- Producing and understanding a range of electrical deliverables such as control schematics, single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, cable schedules, lighting and small power circuits, earthing schemes etc..
- Input into instrument hook-ups and loop diagrams
- Ensuring all relevant standards, instructions and specifications are applied.
- Interfacing with other disciplines to ensure optimised design.
- Checking of other designers’ deliverables
As an EC&I PDMS Designer you will already be:
- An experienced PDMS user, particularly in CE&I aspects including the production of automated drawings from the 3D model.
- Have experience of CE&I design working within a highly regulated industry.
- Be fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry guides and standards
- PDMS, Navisworks Freedom Viewer, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
